Grilled Asparagus, Butter Beans. Herbs & Chilli Oil on Corn Thins slices

Directions

Cut the woody ends of the asparagus spears off ( about 20 - 30%), then cut the spears in half. But the spears in a small bowl, drizzle with oil & add a little salt & pepper if desired. Toss in the bowl till the spears are covered with oil. Heat cleaned grill plates to about 180-200 C (or 350 - 400 F), then add the asparagus. You can put Al foil under the asparagus, but this is not necessary if your grill is clean. Use tongs to turn the spears every 2 mins to get grill makes around all sides of the asparagus. The asparagus should only take about 6 - 10 mins to cook depending on how thick the spears are. Put aside to cool.

Then simply add the asparagus to the Corn Thins slices along with the butter beans. Sprinkle on your choice of Italian herbs (oregano, thyme & parsley), then finish off with a drizzle of chilli oil. Add a little salt & pepper if desired.

3-4 Corn Thins slices

2-3 Tbs butter beans

4-6 asparagus spears

1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil

Chilli oil

Italian herbs (oregano, parsley & thyme)

Salt & pepper (if desired)
