HeaVy MeTaL ThuNdEr!
Submitted by King Jock from Canberra

This one's a real killer for young and old, guys and dolls alike!

1. Freeze your Corn Thin til it's an icey disc,
2. Coat with Ice Magic,
3. Spoon a generous amount of ice cream topped off with heated peanut butter from the microwave.
4. Finally, I recommend a liberal dosing of those hard silver ball things you see on wedding cakes - they're what help give this meal it's charm will force you to proclaim "HeaVy MeTaL ThuNdEr!" every bite you take.

BoRn To Be WiLD
Submitted by Prince Michael from Dubbo

If you cant beat them join em - a recipe inspired by King Jock Heavy Metal Thunder.

1. Follow step 1 to 3 of HeaVy MeTaL ThuNdEr adding extra ice cream and a double serve of peanut butter
2. mold the toppings to create a point along one edge
3. cover with a generous layer of those brown chocholate sprinkle things - make sure you jam them in so that they stick out like spikes and resemble a hedgehog or a echidna
4. Finally add two maltesa for eyes (I always try to use top quality ingredients but you could use a no-name brand malt ball like King Jock would) and cry out - BORN TO BE WIIIILLLD!

Le Tour de France
Submitted by Prince Michael from Dubbo Heights

With the cycling holy grail almost upon us, like-minded bike enthusiasts will surely enjoy this little gem that I use to prepare for what is a gruelling event for both those on the road and those staying up in front of the box wishing they were there!

1. Mix equal quantities of Nutella (or other choc nut spread) with instant coffee (Java blend works best) to create a smooth mocha paste
2. Spread to desired thickness across a Corn Thin
3. Top with a sprinkling of nut / sultana endurance mix to taste Then, as they say in France... 'BON APPETITE'.

NOTE: For an on the road snack, sandwich with a second corn thin, wrap in glad wrap so that it is ready to pull out when you hit the wall for an energy boost that will get you over the line!

Diamondz and Dust
Submitted by King Jock from Canberra

...Lambourginis, caviar, dry martinis, shangri-la...to quote Bon Scott in ACDCs epic track, Sin City! This one's an uptown surf and turfer but not for the cheap of pocket....

1) Take a Corn Thin and cover in a generous amount of truffles and two thin slices of Wagyu Beef.
2) I then top this off with a single langoustine (the rare but delicate Norway Lobster) balanced on its' tail
3) To this I then add a light ambergris mayonnaise and garnish with a small handful of saffron.

While this tasty little snack can be enjoyed to loud rock music, I feel that its' delicate flavours are best complimented by a softer track such as The Flame by Cheap Trick.

Spicy Tuna Thins
Submitted by Nigel from Orwell, Cambs

I use the Cracked Pepper & Lemon for this.

1. Spread Tuna pate over the Corn Thin.
2. Then spread a thin layer of Horseradish sauce over the Tuna. Not too much, you don't want to over power the other flavours.
3. Eat as it is, or, add salad items of your choice.

The Peoples Snack
Submitted by Chairman `Red` Rory from Mudgee Heights

1. First put a thin layer of Chinese Horseradish paste on the Corn Thin.
If this cant be obtained, then regular horseradish or vegemite will do the trick.
2: A slice of rare roast beef should be placed on the Horseradish.
3. Place a slice of canned beetroot and a slice of red ripe tomato on the Corn Thin.
4. As a garnish on top place a piece of Thai Basil or red cabbage.

Note: This is best enjoyed with friends. Share equally!

The Olympic Rings
Submitted by Chairman Rory from Mudgee Heights

With the Olympics almost upon us, I created this Olympic inspired snack to serve to guests as we watch Australia win gold, gold and more gold. The unique tastes will excite and delight the taste buds.

1. On a Corn Thin, spread a thin layer of vegemite (Black ring)
2. Representing the yellow and red and green rings i chose an Aussie cheddar cheese slice and a slice of tomato.
3. Now you are probably thinking.." but what will Rory use for the blue ring??" Never fear. In keeping with the Beijing Olympics theme i chose a Chinese Century egg (these can be bought at most good Asian grocery stores). Slice it thinly and place it on the tomato.
4. The green ring is simply a piece of crispy chinese lettuce to finish of this Olympic snack.

C'mon Aussies!!

The Show Stopper
Submitted by Sir Blousalott from Chalk Farm

1: On top of one's Corn Thin evenly spread anti-clock wise a thin layer of condensed milk.
2: Take a unbruised banana and chop into even slices and place in a floral arrangement on the Corn Thin, thus creating a foundation for this sublime experience.
3: Drizzle artistically a cross hatching of brandy and toffee sauce made to your discretion over the Corn Thin, Be careful to keep the cross hatched squares even and straight as perfection is the key to success in this mouthwatering recipe.

Enjoy in moderation with a VSOP Cognac and some Scandinavian Death Metal.
